Across school, we have a range of different visits and activities which enhance our children's learning not only academically but in so many other elements.
Year 6 - Kingswood (Residential), Magistrates Visit, Bikeability, Year 6 Fast Forward to Christmas at the Salvation Army.
Year 5 - High Adventure (Residential), Kirklees Road Safety Training, Year 5 Rewind to Easter at the Salvation Army.
Year 4 - Trip to Murton Park (new).
Year 3 - Trip to Magna Science Adventure Centre, Kirklees Road Safety Training. Luddite walk.
Year 2 - Trip to Tropical World, Walk to Cenotaph,

Year 1 Trip to Yorkshire WildLife Park
Year One had a fantastic trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. We were very lucky with the weather until we had to return to the bus! We saw lots of animals like tigers, lions, camels, giraffes and rhinos. We wowed the park staff with our knowledge in the classroom workshop, where we were also able to get close to and hold giant hissing cockroaches, giant African land snails and stroke a blue-tongued skink. We are working hard writing a recount of our day.
Year 2 Trip to Tropical World
Year 2 had an amazing time for their trip to Tropical World! The children got to see lots of interesting animals including meerkats, a tarantula, some lizards, lots of tiny monkeys and much more! They also had the opportunity to do some workshops in the woodland, searching for mini beasts and learning all about the different trees in this habitat. All of the children were brilliantly behaved and were super role models for our school!

Reception Trip to Cannon Hall Farm
Our Reception have had a wonderful time on their very first school trip to Cannon Hall. The farmers said their behaviour and knowledge was amazing - in fact Farmer Lisa said it was the best they’ve ever had! Well done to Reception - we are really proud of you!
Year 5 Trip to High Adventure
Year 5 children had a wonderful time making lifelong memories on their first school residential to High Adventure Outdoor Education Centre on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The children made the staff extremely proud as they took on new challenges and worked together. They participated in abseiling, archery, bouldering and much more!

Year 6 Trip to Kingswood
Year 6 enjoyed three fun filled days at Kingswood in Dearne Valley for their residential.
Year 3 Trip to Magna Science Adventure
Year 3 took a trip to Magna, It was a great day, we experienced an amazing Forces Show and Light workshop. We enjoyed discovery time in the The Air Pavilion, where we stepped into a giant airship to explore how air shapes our lives. We also explored the Fire and Water Pavilions and learnt a lot along the way. Also, because of the beautiful weather, we managed to spend some time in Magna's amazing play area outside! The children had a brilliant time and their behaviour was amazing throughout the day.
